Centre of Excellence (CoE)

ACHS International (ACHSI) offers healthcare organisations the opportunity to excel beyond accreditation, certifying a specialty, service, or department within a healthcare organisation by validating excellence in the care delivered in a defined patient service. It demonstrates the service or specialty is committed to upholding additional compliance, quality, and safety standards.  ACHSI's CoE program aims to promote excellence in healthcare by recognising and sharing best practices among organisations that have achieved outstanding levels of performance in specific areas of healthcare.

ACHSI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) program in healthcare refers to a specialised healthcare facility or unit that offers exceptional medical care, advanced technology, and expertise in treating specific medical conditions or diseases. The goal of a CoE is to provide the highest quality of care to patients and to improve health outcomes.

A CoE typically focuses on a specific area of medicine or disease, such as cancer treatment, cardiac care, neurology, or orthopedics. These centres bring together highly skilled and experienced healthcare professionals, advanced medical technologies, and evidence-based clinical practices to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
